What on Earth does an Angelfish have to do with Landscape Architecture?
In reality, probably not a lot. However as part of the process to transforming our office into the most environmentally friendly and natural office in the western world, we have created our own sea water aqua scape, which I suppose you could call an underwater landscape.

It has been widely acknowledged that unsuitable workplace environment conditions also increase stress, which results in less productivity, less creativity and discord and tension in the modern office situation. Stress also contributes dramatically towards decreasing one’s life span.

Other, simple, measures that we have taken to make our workplace a healthier environment are:
  • · We have incorporated a negative ionizer and large indoor plants in clay pots
  • We have replaced plastic and synthetics with natural products eg cedar blinds, tiles, marble desk, leather chair, tiled coffee table.
  • · We have glass on three walls of natural light.
  • Doors for fresh air rather then airconditioning.
  • Walls have been painted with Berger ‘Beathe Easy’ non-toxic paint.
  • We have incorporated ‘Flow Forms’ which is an old European idea very recently introduced to Australia. Basically, flow forms ar a series of ornamental ponds, with internal vortexes, which break water up into a figure 8 configuration. The Physics of this causes the water to produce oxygen and a revitalizing effect to the surrounding area.
  • · In our courtyard we have created a formal European garden as one of my clients (a doctor) insists that formal gardens help you to relax and reduce stress levels. On Jan21st 2000, 9 ducklings hatched in a nest a duck had created in one of our hanging baskets. (We also have hundreds of creative ideas waiting to hatch).

We Autograph all our work with Excellence.
